Haines Hunter Ltd. has employment opportunities for both experienced and trainee-level Boat Builder Finishers.
The role will involve the manufacture of high-quality power boats. Attention to detail and good work habits are essential to the processes involved.
If your experience is limited or you are a school leaver looking at a marine career, we will provide training and the opportunity to complete an apprenticeship.
This is a full-time position, 40hours, Monday to Friday with overtime when required.
Key tasks may include:
• Fitting floors and bulkheads, bonding hull and decks.
• Fitting components such as fuel and water tanks, hull linings, windows, carpets, flooring surfaces, deck hardware, anchor equipment.
• Fitting internal accessories such as shelves, seats, galley equipment, heads / bathroom facilities.
• Fitting electrical and navigation systems.
• Finishing boat for customer presentation.
