SS725 vs SP725 vs SE725

SS725 vs SP725 vs SE725 | Haines Hunter

Three great hardtops, three great configurations – which is right for you?

The largest model in the Haines Hunter range is the legendary 725. It has an overall length of 7.5m, a beam of 2.5m and boasts the signature Haines Hunter Deep V hull, set at precisely 21°. Rated for outboards from 225hp to 300hp, this legendary Haines Hunter hull design makes a huge difference to the comfort of all on board and delivers a performance that’s nothing short of thrilling.

Step aboard the SP725 (Sport Pursuit) and you’ll find an open layout and like other models in the 725 range there is a GRP hardtop above providing protection from the sun or rain and the wind in front – extra ventilation can be sought via the sliding side windows on either side – while optional roof hatches can also be opened when the conditions are right. Move forward into the open cabin and you’ll find an open cabin configuration with a vee berth add the centre infill squab, and you’ve got a double berth big enough for two people to overnight!

Alternatively, the SS725 (Sport Sedan) offers an open hardtop configuration with the security of an enclosed lock-up forward cabin. This means that the forward cabin area can be closed off via a sliding door. This is great for if you want to overnight on the boat, or for the added security of being able to store expensive gear securely for when the boat is unattended for periods of time.

Both the SP725 and SS725 come standard with twin soft rider pedestal swivelling seats, however, should you wish, Haines Hunter offer an option of their famous and comfortable back-to-back deluxe seats. Or you can opt for a combination of the two!

The SE725 (Sport Euro) offers an enclosed hardtop configuration with bi-fold doors and electric windows and is the only fibreglass trailer boat in NZ with a lockable cabin/helm area. Picture yourself heading home on a cold day with the doors closed being warmer, quieter, and less windy - all the while enjoying that incomparable Haines Hunter ride! With this layout, you don’t lose any seating, you still have two forward facing seats, and two aft facing seats in the cockpit – add to that there are also aft removable bin seats.

All 725 models come with an impressive range of standard features and can be optioned with an enclosed head, freezer, shower, 2-burner gas stove, salt, or freshwater wash down, live bait tanks, rocket launchers, game poles and more.

The 725 range is also available with the additional ‘camper pack’ option which can enclose the aft area of the boat too – great for the colder nights if you are overnighting.

No matter what your ambitions, the 725 provides a configuration and layout to suit any user. Build yours on our website or talk to your nearest Haines Hunter dealer.
